Santa’s Back, and he’s coming to Springwell Park.

Every year, Santa visits the children and their families on the second Friday in December. This year that day is this Friday, December 10th. All Springwell Parkers are invited to join in the festivities.

Santa will be stopping at 5 locations as he winds his way through our neighborhood. Pick one and wait to hear the Dearborn Sound truck playing carols as it announces Santa’s impending arrival. Step outside and join the fun, listen to the music, enjoy some hot chocolate, and chat with neighbors while waiting for Santa. The Dearborn Police will be escorting the famous elf in his Open Air Vehicle. Children will be able to tell Santa their Christmas wishes and say hello. Since the Holidays are times we can all feel like children, this is not an exclusive event and all the young at heart are encouraged to attend.

Don’t forget that you can donate to support this event by going to springwellspark.org. Click on dues and donations at the top of the page you will be taken to our online store where by choosing “Santa Trolley Fund ” you can donate a suggested amount or an amount of your choosing. Remember, it takes a lot of fuel to get Santa here all the way from the North Pole, plus the baggage fees for all the goodies he brings are astronomical.

The times of arrival are a guesstimate relying on the number of visitors at the previous location, so keep your eyes open and your ears tuned in to catch Santa at a stop near you.
