Calling all spirited Springwell Parkers, young and old, short and tall to assemble at Eastham and Woodland at One O’clock on Sunday, October 25th for our annual Halloween Parade and social. We will parade through the neighborhood, along Eastham, down Middlebury, along Brewster, and down Longmeadow making lots of noise and ending up at Longmeadow and Boone for cider, donuts, and fun.

I am appealing to all our neighbors to note the date (October 25th 1pm) and participate by handing out candy on our route. This adds a great deal to the parade and the children light up when they see a neighbor waiting at the bottom of their drive. If you are on a cul de sac with multiple homes interested, let me know in advance and we may be able to detour to let the parade pass your homes.

Please contact me, Cindy Polakowski, at 982-1982 or at events@springwellspark.org and let me know if you and yours plan to attend so I can get an idea of a headcount for treats.

Volunteers are needed and always welcome and appreciated, give me a call at 313 982-1982. Many hands make it much more fun.

As usual, these activities are not fully supported by our general fund dues and we need to rely on our neighbors to value and donate to these great community events. Donations will gladly be accepted by the Halloween Social committee, and also at our ONLINE STORE.

BRING YOUR OWN TREAT BAG! Hope to see you on Sunday.

See You There! — Eastham and Woodland at One O’clock
